I didn't want to be your friend first

I hate when someone sends a friend request on Facebook and I don't really want to accept it but I also have to see that person on a regular basis so I begrudingly accept the request and then THEY turn around and unfriend me. WTF.

I suspect a lot of people use the functionality to send friend requests based on all of the email addresses they've ever emailed so they spam all kinds of people with requests and then go back and clean out their friend list after the fact. Lame.
