Can I Sue?

I know this is totally inane, and petty of me, but it's starting to get under my skin. My status updates on Facebook are being burglarized.

I'm no wordsmith, but various friends have used my status as their own. A girl asked to use one, and of course I couldn't be a total bitch and tell her to come up with her own, so I said sure. I went back and read the comments (she copied and pasted it) on hers, and someone said, "I'm totally stealing this!" and another said, "I love the way your mind thinks!"

I'm trying to figure out how to make money off this, of course. Copyrighting status comments, now how douchey would that be?
