Dear Neighbors,
We live in a climate that supports an amazing variety of vegetation. We can grow flowers year-round. There are several wonderful garden centers nearby, and seeds are cheap.
Therefore, there is NO excuse to incorporate fake flowers into your landscaping, and NO excuse to leave said fake flowers outside for months in the winter rains so that they all turn a disgusting shade of grey and have threads hanging off them.
