Procrastination costs me money!

I have been avoiding buying my ticket to visit my family for Thanksgiving.  It has dawned on me that perhaps I should break down and buy it.  Apparently all the airlines are now colluding to punish me for waiting.  The cheapest ticket is $500.  I could probably rent a car and drive there for less. I did check out Greyhound and while it is cheaper, the thought of spending one day, fifteen hours and twenty two minutes on a Greyhound bus does not do it for me.  Especially not at $350 for the privilege.
