As if I kept a clean house.

I live so far into suburbia, that if my house were threatened by the wildfires here in Southern California, it would be world news due to the level of devastation. The worst part about these fires for me is that my house is not airtight. The winds are so fierce that there is soot on every windowsill and in front of every door to my house. If this weren't my last week of maternity leave, I would also be complaining about the road closures doubling my commute time.
